Training Events and Programs:Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your participation at any Anam Chara Journeys event (eg: Conference, Retreat, workshop, in-person or online training), a voucher (credit) will be provided. Your voucher can be used toward any Anam Chara Journeys trainings (online or in-person) at any time in the future (NO EXPIRY) for programming. The no-expiry voucher value will be set at amount paid by customer.

No refunds are available, unless noted on website with specific conditions for refunds noted therein. No exceptions will be made to our cancellation policy for any reason including, but not limited to: death, injury, personal loss, illness, natural disasters, war, civil strife, accidents, airport closures, alien invasions (are you still reading the fine print? Just checking) or theft. If Anam Chara Journeys cancels a training event, a full refund is provided.

Screenings:

Some Anam Chara Journeys trainings involve pre-screening for eligibility. If, during the screening process, it is determined by Anam Chara Journeys that you do not meet eligibility criteria for the training purchased, a full refund will be provided.

Event Faculty Assignments:

Instructors assigned to any training product, including retreats and conferences, are subject to change without notice (in cases of unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to assigned instructor illness or emergency).

Audio and Visual Technology:

At many Anam Chara Journeys events, including retreats and conferences, photographs and videos are taken. You will not be centrally featured in any picture or video without permission, but it is understood that your image may be captured in a crowd or group or background scene. Anam Chara Journeys retains all copyright license rights and sole exclusive ownership of any information, photographs, videos and materials that may not be modified, copied or used without explicit permission of Anam Chara Journeys.

Rights for Trespass/Removal from Trainings:

Anam Chara Journeys reserves the right to order your immediate departure from any training event (online or in-person) for disruptive behaviour that causes disturbance or threats to the safety and well-being of others. Whenever possible, you will be given a warning prior to trespass notice. No refund will be provided in such situations, and every attempt will be made to assist in connecting you to appropriate mental health and legal assistance services if needed.

Indemnity:

You hereby release Anam Chara Journeys from any compensation payment to you, and/or any indemnification action or demand from you or a third party connected to you, for any losses, damages, costs, liabilities and expenses incurred as a result of your participation in any Anam Chara Journeys event or training.

You agree that your voluntary participation in any Anam Chara Journeys training event includes the risk of physical or emotional injury of any sort, and you agree to fully accept this risk, and also to absorb any costs (financial or otherwise) related to such risks or injuries.

Legal Name and Limitations of Liability

Anam Chara Journeys (ACJ) is legally registered in Canada as "Michelle Wilson" and "Anam Chara Journeys" as a Sole Proprietorship and is commonly known by the practice name "Anam Chara Journeys", hereafter referred to as ACJ.

ACJ will not be liable to you (whether under the law of contact, the law of torts or otherwise) in relation to your participation at any Anam Chara Journeys event and/or within the contents of, or use of, or otherwise in connection with, this website and ACJ events.

ACJ will not be liable for any personal injury, psychological distress, loss or damage in situations including, but not limited to: natural disasters, war, civil strife, accidents, airport closures, theft, interpersonal dispute, emotional/mental health reasons, or loss of personal possessions.

We recommend that customers purchase adequate travel, cancellation and medical insurance prior to any ACJ training event requiring travel.

These terms and conditions govern your use of this Anam Chara Journeys (hereafter referred to as "ACJ") website; by using this website, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use this website, nor purchase any training product.

ACJ may disable your user ID and password in situations including but not limited to: profane or unprofessional language used by you on discussion boards of e-courses; illegal activity, such as copyright infringement; and posting of material that gives rise to legal action whether against you or ACJ or a third party (in each case under any applicable law). You must not submit any user content to the website that is or has ever been the subject of any threatened or actual legal proceedings or other similar complaint.

ACJ reserves the right to edit or remove any material submitted to this website in e-course discussion boards, or stored on ACJ’s servers, or hosted or published upon this website. Notwithstanding ACJ’s rights under these terms and conditions in relation to user content, ACJ does not undertake to monitor the submission of such content to, or the publication of such content on, this website.

Entire agreement:

These terms and conditions, together with the privacy policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ACJ in relation to your use of this website, your participation as a customer with Anam Chara Journeys, and supersede all previous agreements in respect of your use of this website and as an Anam Chara Journeys customer.

Law and jurisdiction:
