Education,Training & Lineage

My work is informed by an integrative framework drawing from depth psychology, clinical hypnosis, trauma-informed psychotherapy, and contemplative practices. My direct training includes Jungian psychology, Ericksonian hypnosis, and study with Kaia Day, founder of Daybreak Therapy, whose work emphasizes trance-based approaches developed over more than 30 years of practice. I have also completed immersive meditation training through Dr. Joe Dispenza’s programs, informing my understanding of neuroscience-based meditation and embodied change processes. My clinical orientation is further informed by Gabor Maté’s trauma-informed perspective on healing and nervous system regulation.

My breathwork training is grounded in the lineages of Leonard Orr, founder of Rebirthing Breathwork, and Dr. Stanislav Grof, whose pioneering work in transpersonal psychology and holotropic states of consciousness informs both practice and integration. My contemplative training includes direct study within the lineage of Narayani, a senior yoga teacher and mentor, who co-leads teacher training programs with Dada Satyamitrananda, an Acharya with over 30 years of teaching experience. This training emphasizes Raja Yoga, the classical science of the mind, and was undertaken within an ashram-based context integrating meditation, philosophy, and devotional practice through a Yoga Alliance–certified school connected to the Ananda Marga tradition.

Across all of this work, the Hero’s Journey serves as an orienting framework for

meaning-making, integration, and psychological development.
